Today the plumeria is blooming
Plumeria is one of my diva plants. We have to bring them all inside in the winter, feed them heavily, and even then only one or two of the 10 or so I have will bloom. To be fair, about 5 are babies we are raising from seed, and it takes an average of 7 years before plumeria gets large enough to bloom from seed. The exciting thing about plumeria are the seeds aren’t true. We can plant 5 seeds from the same plant, and get a possibility of five different colored plants. The only way to get true from a plumeria is take a cutting from the mother plant.
