So I found my camera and decided to snap a couple of pictures.
The “Buddha Raksa” plumeria cutting I received in May. Yes, the first thing it did when it woke up was start flowering.

This is a cluster of blooms on a plumeria I repotted in early spring. It seems to appreciate cow dung and peruvian bat guano. Darn you, Internets, for making gardening web sites.

And on a more random note:
I recently acquired a shiitake mushroom “log,” again from said evil Internets. When I received it I stuck it in the fridge for four days then soaked it in dechlorinated water for.. almost two days. I put it on this plate last Sunday.
It looks like a cake with the skewers stabbed in it.

I hope the flash didn’t scare it.

I think something is wrong with me. I can’t help thinking crude thoughts.
