I was in Maine when I saw some really cute Mason Bee houses
it’s for the Blue Orchard Bee, photo taken at Thuya Gardens, Asticou Terraces in Bar Harbor, Maine (GORGEOUS GROUNDS, btw!! LOTS of hummingbirds)
has anyone tried attracting these sorts of pollinators? I’m planning to expand part of my garden to be more bee and butterfly friendly, and this really caught my eye
I live on the border of zones 5 and 6, but apparently blue orchard bees can be found in most parts of the US except the deep south
