hi, im an active gardener and my garden is flourishing with greens these days. i have a question…after harvesting greens, what is the best way to keep them fresh in the fridge? i harvested last night, stored the greens in a paper bag in the fridge and now this morning they are all wilted =/
whats a good way to keep lettuce/greens etc fresh in the fridge for a day or so?
also, here’s a pic from right after last night’s harvest. yummy greens i picked are: lettuce from seed (whole foods lettuce mix); tomatoes; basil; parsley; mint; chives and hot peppers. the greens are still in my bike pannier in this photo, i was so excited by their abundant beauty that i had to take a photo as soon as i got home…
