So I've googled and gone to various stores and looked at frames and things, but have yet to figure out how to hang up my prints. Now that I have free time to decorate, I totally want to. Okay, so it seems obvious enough - thumbtacks, tape, nails, etc. But I'm moving in the next year and don't want to make holes in my (rented) walls or frame everything. All the prints I have are irregular (for readymade frames) sizes. So framing would be really expensive to make like 17x56 custom frames... Also, it is much easier to move to a different state/between apartments with poster tubes than many frames. I came up with the following options: 1. That sticky tac putty stuff. Pros: removable, doesn't make holes in print or wall. Cheap. Cons: leaves residue on the wall and sometimes artwork. Or can anyone recommend me a brand that does not leave those ugly little grease marks? 2. Scotch tape/masking tape/painter's tape. Pros: cheap, removable. Cons: Sometimes tears artwork, does not stay up very well. 3. Those things to hang posters that are like... a tube on the top with a hook and a tube on the bottom to hold poster flat against wall. I don't know where to buy these in person. Anyone know? Better ideas?
