Preen : should I use it?

Preen : should I use it?

I’ve got some terraces, four, that are about 60-70 feet long. They’re pretty tall, and all have ornamental bushes. I just can’t keep up with the weeding on this part of the property, it’s only one portion of my landscaping.

I was thinking of breaking down and using Preen in that area, just on the lower two rungs. It’s not my preferred option, but the rungs are narrow and putting down landscaping cloth and mulch would be a PITA not to mention all the poison ivy and ticks (I’ve just gotten off five weeks of doxycycline for Lyme disease, and if I LOOK at poison ivy I get it!) My veg garden is NOWHERE NEAR this area.. so my veggies would not be affected.

HAs anyone used Preen? Is it even slightly effective? If I go this route, should I put it down this year or wait until next spring?

thanks in advance!
