I’ve settled on mums for front yard perennials. Hopefully they’ll not attract too many bees. When the time comes I think I’ll put some tulip bulbs in as well so we’ll have something pretty in the early spring. That way, hopefully in the main part of the summer months, we won’t have too much scent attracting plants near the front walkway. If watering wasn’t such an issue I’d get more but I think it’s better to do it in stages. In the spring when these are settled in nicely and don’t need to be babied I’ll try something else. Lugging the watering can from the backyard to the front is a pain and I’m not getting any younger. Ha!
These should look really neat as a fall offering when pumpkins are available for purchase.
