Purple Passion Plant

Purple Passion Plant

The other day, I was at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, perusing the clearance plant section, and I came across a 'Purple Passion' plant. Leaves with purple velvet, that's pretty cool. Anyway, the plant isn't in horrible condition, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't know if I should make some cuttings, or just keep it the way it is, or repot it....the leaves are all somewhat curled. Any suggestions would be appreciated...I want this thing to look cool.

This plant gets root rot very easily and you have to let the soil get dry.  If you re-pot it make sure there are rocks at the bottom of the pot before you put soil and a little bit of sand in the potting mixture. Lastly, make sure it has diffused  sun light.  Sometimes loving it too much can kill a plant, meaning over watering and having soggy soil. It seems to act like an African Violet to me.
