I am so grateful! I'm a college kid in St Pete, Florida and I've been really struggling with budgeting my money. I'm in love with this place. Now, my cheap tricks (the two things I'm really good at, hehe): First of all, I do all of my clothes shopping at thrift stores. But that's a given. The second trick is purses and bags. If you have the time, learn to crochet. It's easier than knitting, and it goes fast once you find a rhythm (it took me an hour or so to learn), and you don't forget the basics. I make all of my purses and whatever bags I need. And you can get yarn at thrift stores sometimes for pennies. Bags and bags of the stuff for almost nothing - it can get so expensive in other stores that I can rarely justify buying it. Goodwills and Salvation Armys are also good for getting tapes for nearly nothing. If you have a tape player, it's worth it to use it instead of CDs. Getting a good tape collection from thrift stores can take time, but sometimes you find a jewel.
