So I planted my little herb garden the other day… and now I have a few more questions!
Are you supposed to dry all herbs before using them? How do I do this? Is there a certain way you should cut them off the plant or??
Also, how often should you trim off stems? Just as you need them, or is it good to cut them every so often to keep the plant growing? For example… I planted basil, and some of the leafs are already really big. They look like they are ready to be picked off, otherwise they might shrivel up and die. Should I pick them off or will this cause the rest of the plant to die?
I really don’t want to kill my herbs…. so far they are growing really nicely!
