Rabbits: A Tale of Woe.

Rabbits: A Tale of Woe.

Wild rabbits have decimated my garden. I no longer have broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, peas, eggplants, or lettuce. We have 8' fences with special "bunny proof" bottom metal mesh that we buried 6"* into the ground. These rabbits are smaller than the average squirrel and are squeezing through. We discovered this and put up plastic netting. They worked their way under it. We staked it down. They chewed holes through it. We put up three more layers and sprayed eight different solutions of cayenne pepper or jalapenos around. They chewed through those layers and did not care about the pepper spray. I asked the local gardening shop, but they didn't have any experience or hear of anyone's experiences with any deterrents. They recommended some deer repellent, but we have had a lot of experience with deer not giving a rip about the repellent and I am not about to waste $20 on something that isn't going to work. Has anyone found something that works? :] *Edit
