Do you have any tips for making the task of raspberry picking an easier one? I wear thin gardening gloves with leather palms to avoid the prickles, but I haven't been able to figure out how to solve the problem of not having enough hands for this task: you need one to hold up the cane so you can reach the berries, one to hold your pail, and one to pick the berries. I ended up holding the pail and the cane with one hand and picking with the other, but this was not efficient, and I ended up dropping lots of berries on the ground. The bottoms of my shoes were caked with smooshed raspberries and dirt. What do commercial raspberry pickers do?
