I am in the midst of preparing to sell my childhood home, which involves a lot of cleaning out of things and going through things and so forth.
In the far southeast corner of our yard is a long row of raspberry bushes that have been here since my family bought this house in 1982. I now own a house with my husband (in Minneapolis) with a modest yard. I’m wondering… would it be possible for me to dig up a few of the budding raspberry bushes that are beginning to mature right now and transplant them into my yard? Would they survive a 4 1/2 hour car ride up north? Would they survive a transplant to the south side of our house? I’ve been doing this with my mother’s hosta but not so sure about raspberry bushes…
Please advise!
