RE: Loud Neighbor Post
Thank you all so much for your honest replies. It helps to feel validated when in a situation like this. Some asked about my son - he is 10. The guy downstairs is pretty nice to him and has kids of his own (well, they're adults) so that's why I thought if he heard my son complain he would get it, but I decided not to involve him in the situation. Yesterday I just ended up leaving and when I came home it was quiet(er). I never come home to noise, it only seems to start when I arrive which makes me a bit suspicious about why it happens. Maybe I am paranoid though. Next time I plan to have a letter prepared to hand to him as I don't know if I can go down there and keep my cool. I will then inform my landlord of the situation and send him a copy of the letter for reference. I am going to fix this, with the economy and the job market and being a parent I have enough important issues in my life to worry about, not some moron who doesn't respect his neighbors.
