Reasonable house/pet sitting rate?

Hello everyone,

I thought you guys might be more experienced at this than I. The people I work for want to pay me to house sit for them for two weeks, which would involve staying at their house and taking care of their three dogs and two cats. They want me to name a price and I don’t know what the going rate would be. Should I charge by day or what?
