I remember as much from growing tomatoes under the supervision of mum as a child, that you’re supposed to nip out certain shoots from the plant to maximize yield. The shoots that will not bear fruit and only rob the plant of nutrition and energy that could go into making more and bigger tomatoes.
But…
There’s always a but.
Which ones?

Is it shoot #1, or shoot #2? (my money is on #1 (the ones forming at a leaf attatchment), but suddenly I’m struck with uncertainity.)
