So, the SO got laid off and Ohio messed up his unemployment, so the end of Aug/Beginning of Sept is going to be tight.
Has anyone ever asked their landlords if they would take rent a couple of days late? It’s due on the 5th and we would be able to (more easily) pay on the 8th or 9th. Sometimes they don’t even run rent through until the 9th, but we don’t want to risk it.
Any suggestions here? I want to ask the landlord but I want to do it in a kind way and one that doesn’t yell "Hey, he lost his job, we’re broke!"
