rhubarb

rhubarb

A little while ago, someone posted about how sometimes as gardeners, we make poor choices about the locations of what we plant and end up having to move things around. Well, I'm in that situation. I would like to move my rhubarb plant which is only 2 years old. I've been told that rhubarb takes a couple of years to establish before you can harvest it to eat. So...if I move it, will I have to wait another 2 years before I can safely eat it? Also, when would be the best time to move it? Fall? (I'm in zone 6 and currently have the hottest part of summer ahead of us, if that helps any). Thanks!
