On our local freecycle list, a very kind lady posted offering cuttings from her heirloom roses. Naturally, I popped up saying ‘yes, please!’
There’s only one small issue.
I’ve never actually tried to root cuttings from heirloom roses.
I’ve looked online, at both organic gardening sites, horticulture sites, and heirloom gardening sites, but I thought I’d toss a line out here too, just in case.
Any of you gardeners have any advice for me? Any tricks you use that always work, or sometimes work, or at least increase the chances of success?
The varieties:
BR Cant
The Fairy
Duchess de Braibant
Zepherine Drouhin
Nearly WIld
Ballerina
Cecile Bruner
Lady Banks (white)
Lady Banks (yellow)
Thanks for any advice!
