But to make a long story short, the poor thing is...well...kinda sad looking. It's got two *really* tall canes, and some bushy stuff going on around the bottom of it, but I don't know what to hack off to help the poor thing out. Heck, I don't even know what kind of rose it is, because the hangtag was missing. The flower is HUGE, about the size of my palm, and cream tinged with pink. It smells WONDERFUL, like a perfect rose, and the foliage is dark green and glossy.
So, any advice, oh wise gardeners?
I'm in Austin, Texas if that helps.
(And yay! We just planted some Lantana in front of the ugly shrubs in our front yard.)
ETA: Photos, under the cut. Hope that helps!
