Any fellow rose fanatics out there? One of my plants, an old garden rose called Comte de Chambord, has me a bit confused. All the descriptions I’ve seen describe it as an upright plant, but mine is most definitely somewhat prone. I’ve temporarily attached it to a makeshift trellis, but it definitely doesn’t seem to want to stand up straight on its own. It otherwise looks healthy and is starting to bloom. I should add that I planted it as a baby last year, in case that makes any difference. Somewhat obscure question, I know, but I thought I’d throw it out there.
