i live in CT, which is i think zone 5 or 6. what should i do with my roses before the winter? there is one climbing rose, the others are just shrubs. last fall i pruned them all back but i’m not sure that was the best idea.
i also saw in the public rose garden last year they had mounded soil over the root ball, should i do that?
