Does anyone know if self-seeding Rudbeckia will result in plants with different colored flowers? I have self-seeded Rudbeckia from a neighbor's garden. Meaning, I didn't plant them, they floated over and now I have Rudbeckia everywhere. However, my neighbor has just one color of flower, yellow with a ring of orange-brown around the center and a black middle. I, on the other hand, have five different types of flowers. I have an all yellow with a black center, the yellow with orange-brown ring, yellow with orange-brown spots, an orange with black center, and a green with black center. I tried to Google for an answer, but I couldn't find anything. I'm really confused as to why I have so many different colors.
