Sam’s Club Orchids
I went by Sam's Club yesterday, and saw he most beautiful potted orchids. They were enormous, at least 2 feet tall, with multiple flowering stalks. They were about $30.00 (fairly expensive really, but, my wee orchid was 7.00 and it's still tiny and has never bloomed)... and also, my birthday is coming up... :P I had bought a baby cattleya orchid from a Lowe's garden center last year an it's been enjoying the environmental conditions in my kitchen window (humidity is not usually an issue in my state, but I keep it on wet pebbles and have fed it liquid plant food and it seems very happy). So I think I have the right conditions going and can handle the care aspect ok-- and I know to water differently depending on the type. My question is, has anyone bought live potted plants from Sam's Club? Were they healthy and able to thrive? Were there any diseases or pests? I usually only see cut flowers there, and I'm looking around a bit but not finding a lot of reviews.
