Sam’s Lottie update

Sam’s Lottie update

I'm calling this a Lottie post because I really hope I'll soon be able to walk more than a few yards again. That title works as self-encouragement. But what I actually did today was to start making new compost in the now-empty Dalek 1, and to sow some seeds. Aubergine, sweet pepper and tomato; sweetcorn; sprouting broccoli, calabrese, cauliflower and brussels sprout. Such a lovely spring task and how cute the seed-trays look, all hopeful for the future. I'm thinking that if ever I need to use a wheelchair full-time, I'll still be able to do greenhouse gardening. Hopefully it won't come to that but in any case, it's going to be fun this year to grow all the ingredients for ratatouille.
