Save on Drycleaning puffy stuff

Save on Drycleaning puffy stuff

So I was at the laundromat over vacation and saw this woman dumping a can of tennis balls into the dryer. I said to her, "I gotta ask... what's up with the tennis balls?" and she told me that she had taken her son's down comforter to the dry cleaner and they wanted $80 to clean it. She wasn't about to spend that much money to dry clean something, so she did some research and found out you can actually wash down if you dry it with tennis balls to fluff it up (which also helps it to dry faster -- if you've ever tried to dry anything with down in it, you know it takes forever.) She said this also works with pillows (down and polyfill), stuffed animals, big, puffy jackets -- anything puffy. Sure beats paying $80 for drycleaning! Sheesh! For $80 bucks, you'd better at least get dinner with your cleaning!!!
