Scheffleras left out in the cold cold coldness
I've acquired house plants from my mom that she puts out in the summer. It's some variation of Schefflera with clusters of 5 waxy dark green (on top) leaves at the end of each limb that are a elongated oval shape. Anyway... they have been outside until today and the weather has been down to around 20 at nights and between 35 and 55 during the days. The leaves are still on, they aren't falling off. A few of them have started turning black and squishy at the tips but very few. No leaves are brown or dried up. I brought them inside and watered them in the shower and have them sitting in a sunlight appropriate place but I've never "rescued" a plant before and I'm curious if this is worth the time (I do like this type of plant and have several large ones in my home already), and what else I should do to ensure recover for them. Any help is appreciated.
