Seed rot and heating

Seed rot and heating

Hey there, first time poster. I started a tray of three different types of flowers earlier this week. They germinated very quickly and I was hopeful until I saw some white fungus covering the seed of a few of the plants. I removed and discarded all of the affected plants when I saw them and propped up the lid of the seed tray to allow better ventilation. Is there still hope for the remainder, or should I give up and try again with a new batch? I didn't have to remove too many.. only 3 out of 72 so far. I also purchased one of those small pop-up greenhouses to help with the harden-off process since it's still so chilly outside. Is there any safe and economical way to keep this thing slightly warm during the evenings? The only thing I've seen so far are the seedling germination mats. What's a black-thumbed person to do? This isn't the first time I've planted from seed, but I haven't been successful before (either seed rot got 'em or I fried the poor guys in the sun). Thank you. :D
