Sigh. My current batch of seedlings are having issues. It's too windy for them outside (lost a batch to the wind knocking them clear off my porch - had to re-seed). Not enough sun inside, except in the windows and the tables near the windows, which is prime real estate for the cats, so they're either sat on, knocked over, or chewed in half (my cats ate the onion stems, I'm hoping they'll still survive, the onions, not the cats. :/) And then? I find the perfect spot where they aren't being harassed, and my seedlings in a Jiffy starter (the cups, not the little soaker pods) are covered in mold. Little white fluffy mold, looks similar to dandelion puff. I picked the mold off and culled the seedlings that had it on them. Do I need to start over... is it too late for them? I took the lid off for them to breathe, I think I'm going to go poke a hole or two in it since someone, somewhere on the interwebs said that's what they did. If the wind would just stop, or my cats would not be jerks... somehow I think I would have better luck getting the wind to stop.
