seedlings

Hey! New here, as well as a new gardener. I live in zone 6a (I think, I'm in Westchester County, NY). I have a slew of seedings growing very well in a well lit, warm east facing room. Mostly tomatoes and herbs. I just bought a portable mini greenhouse; you know the kind: pseudo bakers rack with a zippering plastic cover. The current weather is approx. 50 -55 during the day, raining a lot and going down to probably 35 to 40 at night. My question is this: Is it safe for the seedlings to be put outside in the greenhouse? Should I put them in it inside until it gets warmer? Would my 1 1/2ft gardenia benefit from being outside in it? What about my 6 inch, 2 year old maple? I guess the basic question is how warm can I expect this thing to get during the night in this zone? Thanks! Kristina
