Seeds, seeds, and yes, more seeds!
I just ended up buying three packets of cacti/succulent mix seeds, since it's been rather difficult finding them anywhere but online. Actually, they just might be cacti, which is fine with me. I also bought borage since I've been having a hell of a time starting mine. I think I might have gotten a bad packets or something because I haven't been able to keep one seedling alive. Actually, only two germinated (even though they're supposed to have a high germination rate) and none others. I've planted at least 10 seeds. Finally, I got a mini greenhouse. It's just one of those trays with a cover, but it was only $6.50 and didn't make shipping anymore expensive so I figured I might as well. It'll give me somewhere protected to grow all the cacti seeds I just ordered. It comes with 72 compartments. Since I'm on the topic of seedlings, some new sprouts include: Venus fly trap (I had given up on these, but just over two months and they finally germinate!) Passion Flower My columbine has yet to germinate. I left them uncovered like the packet said, but it doesn't seem to be working too well. Anybody here ever grow columbine from seed? Any tips/hints?
