Shrinking my middle, not my bank statement

Shrinking my middle, not my bank statement

Ladies and Gents! I've started trying to live a healthier life, and have been incorporating more exercise in my life. Gyms aren't really my thing (too many people, germs, potential cost), so I'm trying to use the other resources I have available. I thought I'd share a few of the ways I've thought of to keep it low cost as well: -Walking in public parks (Boston's Emerald Necklace) -Walking at a local college in bad weather (in New England we get our fair share of that) -Mall walking (some malls even have programs for this) -Using plastic bottles full of water (or sand/pebbles) as weights -Discounted classes for students at the local yoga studio The one thing I did invest in was good shoes. I thankfully found a sidewalk sale at a local running store, $100+ shoes for $40. What are your cost cutting tips for exercising?
