I am in need of some houseplant advice.
In July, hubby and I each bought a houseplant we liked. Hubby chose a rather pretty flowered one, the card says it’s a Siam Curcuma. He named it Colin. Here is a picture of Colin (and mine on the left, Bertha) in July looking rather nice and healthy.
Now, granted this isn’t Siam, it’s a rather chilly England. But Colin isn’t fairing so well. the flower dried up and fell off, and we expected it to grow another one or just wait until it warmed up again. We’ve followed the instructions, he’s been living on a windowsill, regular but not too often watering. But he’s gone brown. Too much watering? Any ideas on how to make Colin happy?
