My fiance has just found two dead slugs by my baby Earthwalker Sunflower. It seems they ate the slug pellets but managed to nom the leaves before they died. Fortunately they only got the top four leaves and the tougher bottom leaves and the rest of the stem are intact, so he's stuck a lemonade bottle over the Sunflower for me and I know it will bounce back - this same thing happened last year but the adult plant was still beautiful. I'm keeping the two younger Earthwalkers in the greenhouse until they're a *lot* bigger though... I hate slugs :( *Edit*: In better news, last year's Bleeding Hearts are now showing green leaves as well as purple, so they're well on their way back to their former glory.
