so much for that green thumb…

so much for that green thumb…

i'm generally pretty good with gardening and plant care (i have friends who can attest to this). however, i am notorious for killing off house ferns and cyclamen. i don't know what it is, but it's a given. i love them both, but i cannot, for the life of me, keep them happy indoors. this post is more a question in regards to the cyclamen. every time i've had one, it starts out all happy (don't they usually?). then, despite regular watering, all the leaves turn yellow and die off and i'm left with the saddest looking plant evar. even if i manage to keep a decent number of leaves healthy, the plant never blooms again and eventually dies off. what am i doing wrong to these poor creatures? is there any way to revive one that's on its death bed? if anyone has tips on the ferns, too, comments are welcome. :) thanks!
