I did not know that. A friend mentioned it. I planted 20 bulbs two Octobers ago. Six months later, I think 18 of them bloomed. I did nothing to them and and now only five bloomed this year. Granted they are lovely but still. So what do I do? Dig them up when they die in a few weeks and replant in the fall? Here’s the pix of the few survivors, more behind the cut.
