Sometimes I wish Ohio would just get with the program!
Luckily I didn't plant any bulbs last weekend - because it snowed on Monday!!! I really wanted to turn the dirt over and mulch a little this weekend but thats not going to happen! Maybe by April I can get some of my bulbs into the ground and by mid to late May plant my other plants. You can always count on a good frost right after planting in May around here so I'll just have to cross my fingers! I bought some insectisidal(sp?) soap a couple weeks ago to spray on my hydrangea - it's doing much better now, no more webs or specks on the leaves. I hope to get that beauty in the ground by May - after a few more precautionary treatments of course. Unfortunately my boyfriend killed my gerbera daisies this week by over watering them and leaving them in standing water - I'm never letting him water the plants again, I'll just have to get a plant babysitter or something when I'm out of town.
