my partner checked the garden yesterday on his way in from his truck, and came across
the seed came in a pack of yellow squash seeds, so i have NO IDEA how we ended up with a romanesco zucchini. it took him awhile to figure out what it was, too, since it’s obviously MUTANT SIZED. this is a happy accident, since i forgot to buy zucchini seeds and the romanesco is an heirloom.
i just didn’t expect the fruit to be so freakishly large!
