There's a neighbor who has a corner house who has the most gorgeous impatients every year. I know it's goofy but somehow I think that corner houses should have a certain amount of curb appeal that does not apply to all others. Simply because they are the first house that you see when stopping at intersections and they kind of set the tone for the neighborhood. Yeah, I know, goofy thinking. But we do live in a corner house too so the idea resonates with me, so to speak. :) So anyway, since impatients need so much water, I wouldn't try them at our house. Mom clued me into that when she got on in years and asked me to stop buying them for her house every year. *chuckles* But I love looking at this guys yard. I've always wondered how he kept them so nice all season. Well last week when I drove past the secret was revealed. A sprinkler system and drip hoses. I know those things are expensive unless you can put it together yourself. Was wondering how many people here have an automatic watering system for their gardens. Not so much for your lawn but your garden patch. And if so did you do it yourself?
