Squash soup in the shell

By request, here is the dead-easy recipe for the squash soup I made last night: Cut the top off a small squash, to form a "bowl." Scoop out the seeds & innards. Grate your favourite cheese (I prefer something sharp, like old cheddar or emmental) and pack it into the hole, though not too tightly. Pour 10% cream (or half & half) over the cheese until the rest of the hole is filled to the brim. Bake uncovered in the oven at 350F for about an hour, or until the squash is thoroughly cooked. Serve as is, and eat by scraping the flesh off the sides of the squash and mixing it with the cream and the cheese. Easy and delicious. Serves 1, so make as many small squashes as you have people. Bear in mind it is VERY filling, so plan for a light meal otherwise. :)
