So, my room-mate and I transplanted our sunflowers, and they seem to be doing quite well. We waited for them to have one set of real leaves plus their cotyledons before transplanting, and so far only one of them has died (it looks like something stepped on it and broke the stem). We've got 15 healthy giant sunflower seedlings going, and a couple of ornamental ("Italian White") ones as well. The ornamentals have had a much lower germination rate, but hopefully we'll have a few of those. In other news, I'm picking about 2 yogurt-containers full of strawberries from our garden every day now! The best part about these strawberries is that we didn't plant them, they were here when we moved in, and now they're producing like crazy. Love it.
