The Simon & Garfunkel window box that isn’t in the kitchen window (wouldn’t be able to reach it- sink’s in the way) is doing very nicely. The thyme is the smallest of the 4 plants but I think that’s because it’s, well, a small plant.
The parsley is huge, the rosemary is very fragrant and the sage— well, the sage is beginning to flower. And the suprise? It’s Pineapple sage. When you clip the leaves, it smells exactly like pineapples! It tastes just like a very sweet sage. I didn’t know there was such a thing as pineapple sage, much less that I was growing it.
Question– should I cut the flowers?
