So, I have been lurking round here for ages and I see that most people on here are divided into 2 camps: the "I'm poor so I MUST shop for the best deals or else I'll starve" group and the "I'm pretty poor, but I'm SUPER socially aware" group. So I pose this question to all of you (and all of you that are not quite in either camp) what do you think about sweat shop labor? Personally I hate the idea that the only reason I can get a cute t-shirt for $5 is because someone in another country is making $.25 and hour. But, I also don't have a lot to spend. So, how do you reconcile the two? Any suggestions for the socially conscious that have struggled with this issue? Thanks!
