So, as of today, I have 21 more days until I need to move out of my apartment. I’m having a hard time moving all my things, and dealing with the idea of letting go of everything considering I’ll be moving back in with my parents. I like to call it detachment anxiety.
But while that’s something I can deal with on my own time, thought I’d document some photos of my room currently. Sorry it’s a bit messy, but I hope you enjoy the photos!

My oh-so-comfortable bed! The canvases above my bed are actually the first canvases I’ve ever painted.

Bookshelf (which I bought at a garage sale, refurbished, and painted) & make-up & jewelry area.

Frontal view of my bookshelf & vanity area.

Close-up of my necklaces held by hooks placed in the wall.

Close-up of my make-up area. Very useful container to organize everything.

Close-up of my make-shift ring holder and bracelet holders.

Red wall coat hanger from IKEA. Spot my favorite Hello Kitty hat? It’s one of the first gifts from my boyfriend! :D

Area above my desk. 3-D squares painted to match my room and used to showcase photos, memorabilia, and other knick-knacks.

Farther shot. The area is a little messy, but I’m in the middle of moving out.

Close-up of 3-D squares. Money lei made by my boyfriend and given to me at my college graduation.

Desk organizer. It’s kind of a mess at this point, but very nifty in holding all my items! And it spins and rotates, which makes it easy to access items!
Some other knick-knacks:

Our beautiful shower curtain! Makes our bathroom look so sexy and upgraded! I’ll be sad to let it go when I have to move out.

Our mantle piece. Made all in a night’s labor.
What it looked like before:

I found this sitting next to the dumpster one night when throwing out some trash. I decided it needed some lovin’… and it got my creative juices flowin’!
More detailed photos of the mantle piece:

Being destructive in our apartment kitchen.
Painting the thing was a GREAT task, but I was pleased with the outcome!

After everything had been painted and the photo pins had been attached, it was time to finish it off with some decor.

Photos of all the residents of our apartment (past & present, including pets!).

Second-story decor.
Now, I’m moving out in 21 days and don’t know what to do with all these things… any ideas?
