Does anyone have any tips to get the most out of your tax return? Perhaps itemizations or the like, I'm really not sure. I was thinking that since I drive so far to/from work, perhaps itemizing fuel expenses would help? My daily commute is 60 miles per day, 5 days per week. With the help of my Mom, I was able to get a fairly fuel efficient car (~34.5 mpg), but I still managed to spend ~$1470 on gas this year. I'm single and claim 0 [exemptions] on my payroll deductions so that hopefully at the very least I'll break even and not owe the IRS. That usually works out, but if anyone has any hints, I'd love to hear them. Thank you! ETA: Thank you all for your comments, they've been most helpful!!!
