Textbook site that compares vendors
No textbook posts since August... what, am I the only person who bothers buying books for spring semester? Hehe. The first step to any semester should be to check and see if other students who've taken the class are selling their books, assuming that the books haven't changed. Use student mailing lists or online forums if available, Facebook Marketplace if not. If, however, you do have to purchase books from another source, I highly recommend the website www.bigwords.com for all of your future textbook buying needs. You search for all the books you need, add to the bookbag, then click "Compare prices" and they do an automatic comparison of a TON of online vendors for you and find the best deals. Best part? They include shipping charges in their calculations, so you don't have to sit there and go, "Is it cheaper to buy the cheaper copy from vendor A and B, or should I go for Vendor B for both books even though B is more expensive for this book?" Try it. They have a similar process for selling back your old textbooks. It's nice.
