The next chapter . . . . .

On March 17 I told and showed how the flower spike of my Tillandsia was growing up and touching the screen. I routed it outside the screen and directed it in a different angle. Within a few days it was growing upward, and soon touched the screen again, and then started growing back in the direction from where it first came. I got a suggestion from "yesididit" to tie a string and weight on it to gently pull it down at least to get it away from the screen and maybe it would grow in another direction. Yesterday I hooked a wire on it and attached a lightweight rock to pull it down. Today the spike is already growing upwards again! It now has about 3" before it hits the screen again. What determination! I’ll keep you posted. Click "more" to see what it looked like this morning.
