The trouble with summer squash…

I am growing zucchini and crooknecks in containers in my front yard this year. I have two pots of zucchini and two of crookneck, and I didn't label them (I know, I'm terrible), but I had them arranged in such a way that I knew what was growing where. Well, it got a little cold a few nights and my significant other moved them into the carport and then back out... now I don't know which is which because they look very similar. I wondered if someone could help me out with the identification of the plants. Both types are getting ready to flower and I have both male and female buds to look at. Also, what are the symptoms of an over-fertilized plant? I have a couple mystery summer squash plants in one of the containers that just don't look like one or the other. They're much smaller and more yellowy-green than the others, though they aren't wilty or crunchy. If they're over-fertilized, is there anything I can do to remedy the situation?
