The wonders of the microclimate.

The wonders of the microclimate.

We’ve now had temperatures down to 24 degrees and most of the tenderplants have already died down to the ground, with one interesting exception. The pepper plants next to the garage are still alive, four foot tall and bearing nicely. I havested enough peppers today for a couple of family meals of sausage and peppers.

The wonders of the microclimate.I’m assuming heat obsorbed during the day by the brick garage is giving off enough heat at night to keep the plants alive.

The wonders of the microclimate..these peppers, whose name I can’t remember are yellow and ripen to red.
