Tips about any veg growing or compost
My gardening is in an allotment owned by someone else who advertised for help in a local shop so we have a team effort going on so we can all grow whatever we want and we buy our own seeds and everyone helps with the digging etc and everyone reaps the benefits at harvest. We're growing fruit and veg and to be honest Im only really interested in things if I can use them/ eat them, Im not a big fan of flower beds that just sit there and look pretty, although maybe some of you can persuade me otherwise. Im like reading about the medicinal uses of plants so I might be brought round that way. At the minute Im just gearing up to grow tomatoes and carrots in the allotment and Im growing chives, rosemary, sage, basil and soon parsley in tubs at home ( we have no garden here). Today we also started collecting kitchen waste for compost so im interested in that too. Any tips about any veg growing or compost will be appreciated. We're growing most of the veg you can mention at the allotment, I just mentioned the ones I am personally growing so feel free to tell me about your prize radishes or whatever, Im quite a beginner but reading lots so open to suggestions cheers!
